We started Rust Belt Customz in 2023, making hats for family and friends. Today, we work with individuals, local businesses, and teams across the country.
We prepare your artwork, engrave your patches, and check each finished order before it leaves our shop in Alliance, Ohio. You’ll also find us making hats at local events in our mobile engraving trailer.

A few things to know
What are the patches made from?
We use LoneStar premium leatherette, laser engraved with your logo and attached with heat-activated adhesive. The patches have a leather-like finish; they are not genuine leather.
Will I approve the design?
Yes. Your online preview helps you choose a design. We email a free digital proof for your approval before engraving.
When will my hats be ready?
Most standard orders take 4–7 business days after proof approval, plus shipping. For a large order or a firm deadline, contact us before ordering.
What does the adhesive guarantee cover?
The patch-to-hat adhesive bond is covered during normal use. If it lifts, contact us. Normal wear or damage to the hat or patch is not covered.
